Trump Rallies in Corpus Christi and Lubbock Today in His Fourth Texas Trip of the Cycle
President Donald Trump speaks at 2 p.m. in Corpus Christi and 6 p.m. at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center today, one week before Election Day, in a Senate race recent polling puts at about a point; Vice President JD Vance follows in Weatherford on Thursday.

President Donald Trump is back in Texas today for two midterm rallies, his fourth trip to the state this election cycle, USA TODAY reported. He starts in Corpus Christi, where doors open at 10:30 a.m. Central, the program begins at 12:30 p.m. and remarks are set for 2 p.m.; the Corpus Christi location had not been announced in the schedule the paper published. He ends the day in Lubbock, with doors at 2:30 p.m. and remarks at 6 p.m.
The Lubbock stop is at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center, 1501 Mac Davis Lane, where the event officially starts at 4:30 p.m. ahead of the president's 6 p.m. remarks, FOX 4 News reported. The swing through South and West Texas comes one week before the November 3 election, in support of Republican candidates headed by Senate nominee Ken Paxton.
The race underneath the rallies explains the itinerary. Recent polling shows Democrat James Talarico holding a razor-thin one-point lead over Paxton, FOX 4 reported, and both campaigns are treating Texas as a battleground in the homestretch. Trump's earlier Texas trips this cycle took him to Denton on October 1 and San Antonio on October 7, stumping for Paxton, after a September visit to Dallas for the Republican Midterm Convention.
The Texas push continues after today: Vice President JD Vance is expected in Weatherford, west of Fort Worth, on Thursday, October 29, with doors at 10 a.m., the event at 12:15 p.m. and remarks at 1:50 p.m. Space City Daily will file on the president's verified remarks from both of today's rallies tonight.
