Houston Traffic at 11 P.M. Monday: Two Major Accidents Inside the Hour, Ten Stalls, and the US-90 Alternate Night Work in Its First Night
TranStar's late board is a street story, not a freeway one: the only freeway incident has cleared, but major accidents on Richmond Avenue and Parker Road led five street incidents reported inside 25 minutes, and ten stalls dot the freeways overnight.

HOUSTON - Houston's freeways were nearly clear late Monday night, but the surface streets were not: Houston TranStar's 11:06 p.m. board lists five street incidents, all reported inside the last 25 minutes, led by a pair of major accidents.
The two major accidents are at 12101 Richmond Avenue at West Houston Center Boulevard, reported at 10:55 p.m., and at 1901 Parker Road, reported at 10:51 p.m. Behind them: a traffic hazard at 9601 Stella Link Road at the South Loop West at 10:50 p.m., and minor accidents at 3939 West Alabama Street (10:47 p.m.) and 16152 John F. Kennedy Boulevard (10:43 p.m.). TranStar lists no vehicle counts on its street board, and no official detail beyond the listings has been released.
The freeway board is down to one incident, and it is already gone: an 'other' listing on US-290 Northwest Westbound at Kermier, on the right shoulder with no vehicles involved, cleared at 10:54 p.m. Ten stalls remain scattered across the system, all on shoulders - among them a heavy-truck stall on the North Sam Houston Tollway Eastbound after SH-249, verified at 10:33 p.m., a stall on IH-45 Gulf Southbound after Beltway 8-South verified at 11:02 p.m., and a left-shoulder stall on SH-288 Southbound at IH-69 Southwest verified at 10:51 p.m. TranStar reports no high-water and no ice locations.
The overnight closure map is unchanged in kind and active in fact: the US-90 Alternate Westbound pavement repair from Buffalo Speedway to the IH-610 South Loop, one outside lane closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Friday, is in its first night; the West Loop Northbound striping closure (Woodway Drive to Old Katy Road, two inside lanes, nightly to November 6) is active; and the long-term total closures hold - US-90 Alternate at Du Pont to Cullen until May 31, 2027, and the IH-10 Katy HOV lanes from Franklin to Studemont until July 1, 2027. FM-360 in Needville remains closed continuously for construction until November 13.
