Sharon Osbourne Says She Visits Ozzy's Grave Every Day - and That an Ozzy Biopic and Ozzfest's 2027 Return Are Both in Motion
'Sharon Osbourne' is a top-10 search in America on Monday, and the reasons are a widow's routine and a legacy being built at once. She told the BBC she visits Ozzy Osbourne's grave - in the garden of their Buckinghamshire home, visible from her window - every day, as his final-concert film reaches cinemas. Separately, she told Billboard she has two actors in mind to play Ozzy in a biopic, and that Ozzfest returns in 2027.

HOUSTON - Sharon Osbourne can see her husband's grave from her window, and she goes to it daily. 'Of course, every day,' she told the BBC, in an interview reported by Music Times and read by this desk. 'I can see him from my window.' Ozzy Osbourne is buried in the garden of the family's Buckinghamshire home - a private location the family chose deliberately - and 'sharon osbourne' sat at No. 8 on the US trending search board read by this desk on Monday morning, as his final concert returns to the screen.
Ozzy Osbourne died on July 22, 2025, at 76 - 17 days after his final performance, the Back to the Beginning concert at Villa Park in Birmingham on July 5, 2025, which reunited him with Black Sabbath bandmates Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward. The concert film of that night, Ozzy & Black Sabbath: Back to the Beginning, is scheduled to open in cinemas on Oct. 28. In Sharon Osbourne's account to the BBC, Ozzy had been living with Parkinson's disease and serious problems involving his heart, lungs and spine, and neither the band nor the couple's children knew how ill he was; a death certificate obtained by People listed cardiac arrest and acute myocardial infarction, with coronary artery disease and Parkinson's disease with autonomic dysfunction as joint causes.
'You've lost the love of your life, so you don't just wake up and go, I'm fine now. I'm cured. You never get over it,' she told the BBC, as reported by InStyle. 'But you learn to live with it, and that's what I'm trying to do.' She recalled Ozzy being 'so, so happy' during his final performance in his hometown. Sharon Osbourne, 74, shares children Aimee, Kelly and Jack with Ozzy, her husband of 43 years.
The legacy work is moving at the same time. Speaking with Billboard, in a conversation reported by Rock Celebrities, she confirmed the long-developing Ozzy biopic is casting its sights: 'We are going out looking for directors as we speak,' she said. '[There are] two actors I have in mind [to play Ozzy]. With somebody like Ozzy, not to do a movie on his life would be ridiculous.' The film - in development since 2021, with Oscar nominee Lee Hall attached to write, focused on Ozzy and Sharon's relationship, expected around 2028 and produced by Sharon, Jack and Aimee Osbourne - will share the calendar with a revival she also confirmed: Ozzfest, the festival she founded, returns with U.K. and U.S. dates planned for 2027.
