Rockets Take Their 4-0 Start to Milwaukee on Wednesday, With Sengun Leading the Way
Houston is 4-0 for the first time since the 2014-15 season, tied for the NBA's best record - and Alperen Sengun leads the rotation in points, rebounds, assists, shooting percentage and plus-minus. Next up: the 1-3 Bucks at Fiserv Forum on Wednesday at 7 p.m. Central.

The Houston Rockets take the NBA's joint-best start on the road Wednesday, when they visit the Milwaukee Bucks at Fiserv Forum. Tipoff is at 7 p.m. Central, televised regionally on Space City Home Network and streamed on NBA League Pass. Milwaukee is 1-3; Houston is 4-0 for the first time in more than 10 years, since the 2014-15 season, after Monday's 120-110 win over Atlanta completed a two-game sweep of the Hawks.
The engine of the start is Alperen Sengun. Among the Rockets' consistent rotation players, the two-time All-Star center leads the team - which is tied with Oklahoma City atop the Western Conference and tied for the NBA's best record - in points, rebounds, assists, field-goal percentage and plus-minus differential, Rockets Wire reported. On Monday he added a team-high 29 points, 9 assists, 9 rebounds and 6 steals, shooting 11-of-15 from the field, and Houston outscored Atlanta by 29 in his 29 minutes on the floor.
He is not doing it alone. Kevin Durant scored 22 points with 9 rebounds and 4 blocks on Monday, Jabari Smith Jr. added 16 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists, Amen Thompson scored 15 on 6-of-8 shooting, and Tari Eason and Reed Sheppard each scored 13. Atlanta, a playoff team in the East last season, fell to 2-2 with consecutive losses to Houston, despite 21 points from Jalen Johnson and 20 from CJ McCollum.
Wednesday's game opens a two-stop road swing: Houston plays at Dallas on Friday night, then returns home to face Oklahoma City on Saturday - a meeting of the two teams currently sharing the West's top record. A win in Milwaukee would give the Rockets a 5-0 start before that Halloween-night showdown at Toyota Center.
