Reward Rises to $50,000 in the Cypress Triple Murder and Arson, Two Years On
Kelly Masciarelli, her son Kolin Foster and his girlfriend Cameryn Richard were found dead inside a burning Cypress home on August 18, 2024 - murdered, investigators say, in a fire set on purpose. The Harris County Sheriff's Office, FBI Houston and Crime Stoppers are now offering up to $50,000 for the tip that identifies who did it.

HOUSTON - Two years after three people were found murdered inside a burning Cypress home, the agencies working the case are raising the price of an answer. The Harris County Sheriff's Office, FBI Houston and Crime Stoppers of Houston announced an increased reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the identification and arrest of those responsible, the sheriff's office said in a release.
On August 18, 2024, sheriff's deputies responding to a residential fire in the 14600 block of Plains River Drive discovered the bodies of Kelly Masciarelli, her son Kolin Foster, and his girlfriend Cameryn Richard inside the home. Investigators determined the fire was intentionally set and that all three victims were murdered, the release said.
"Two years later, we have not forgotten Kelly, Kolin, or Cameryn," Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said in the release. "Our investigators remain committed to finding those responsible and bringing justice to their families. We believe there are people who know what happened that night, and we are asking them to come forward." Investigators hope the increased reward and the renewed attention around the anniversary will encourage anyone with information to speak up. Previously released surveillance footage shows a male suspect with a tall, muscular build getting into a black four-door sedan driven by another individual, and investigators believe someone may recognize the suspect, the vehicle, or have information about the events surrounding the murders and the fire.
"Even the smallest piece of information could be critical to this investigation," Gonzalez said. "If you know something, please come forward. These families deserve answers." Anyone with information is asked to contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324) or submit a tip online at tips.fbi.gov.
