Patriots Rally From 13-3 Down to Beat the Dolphins 24-19 Behind Drake Maye's Second Half
New England managed three points in a rainy first half in Miami Gardens. Then Drake Maye went 9-of-10 after the break, threw for two scores and ran for a third touchdown sequence as the Patriots scored 21 unanswered points and held off a last Miami push for a 24-19 win.

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. - The New England Patriots beat the Miami Dolphins 24-19 on Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium, rallying from a 13-3 halftime deficit behind a near-perfect second half from quarterback Drake Maye, according to Reuters' account of the game.
Miami (1-6) controlled the first half and led by 10 at the break. Maye - 16-of-20 for 199 yards and two touchdowns on the day - did most of his damage after it, going 9-of-10 for 146 yards in the second half. He hit Kyle Williams for a 43-yard touchdown with 9:23 left in the third quarter to cut the lead to 13-10, then ran in from 2 yards out with 59 seconds left in the quarter to put New England ahead 17-13 - the first three of 21 unanswered Patriots points.
DeMario Douglas stretched the lead to 24-13 with 12:39 to play, catching a throw on the run from Maye and racing 48 yards for a touchdown. Miami answered once more: Malik Willis found Kevin Coleman Jr. for a 35-yard touchdown with 2:04 left to close it to 24-19, but the conversion attempt failed, the Patriots recovered the onside kick, and Rhamondre Stevenson - 82 yards on 19 carries - picked up the final first down that let New England run out the clock. Ollie Gordon II led Miami's ground game with 69 yards on 19 carries.
The win lifts New England to 5-3, and both clubs stay home next Sunday, Nov. 8: the Patriots host the Green Bay Packers (5-3), while the 1-6 Dolphins host the Detroit Lions (5-2).
