Husband and Wife Arrested for Assault During Sugar Land Youth Softball Game, Court Documents Say
A husband and wife were arrested Saturday after a fight broke out at a youth softball game at Imperial Park in Sugar Land. Court documents say a man was knocked unconscious - twice, according to witness video - and one man was taken to a hospital with a head injury.

A husband and wife were arrested over the weekend after a fight broke out at a youth softball game in Sugar Land, FOX 26 Houston reported. According to Fort Bend County court records, Jazmine Hall and Kiarious Hall were both arrested and taken into custody at Fort Bend County Jail. Jazmine faces one count of assault causing bodily injury, while Kiarious faces two counts.
Court documents state police were called to Imperial Park on East US 90 around 7:40 p.m. on Saturday. According to Kiarious, they were attending the game to cheer for their daughter, and he was approached by a man who confronted him about his cheering - the man told him he could not cheer before the players were about to pitch, but he continued to cheer anyway. A second man allegedly joined the argument; Kiarious told police the first man elbowed him in the chest and the second man grabbed him and poked him in the chest.
Court documents stated Kiarious punched the second man in the face, and he fell to the ground, hit his head, then went unconscious. Kiarious then got into a physical fight with the first man before eventually separating. Witnesses showed police video they recorded: documents say the video showed the three men in a verbal argument, though the angle made it unclear whether either man touched Kiarious. Documents state Kiarious is seen in the video holding a metal water bottle and swinging it to hit one of the men in the face, who then fell unconscious, before swinging the bottle at the other man and fighting with him; the video then showed Jazmine joining the fight, the reports claimed.
One man was taken to a hospital with a head injury, FOX 26 reported. The two accounts in the court documents - Kiarious Hall's and the witness video as officers described it - differ on who made physical contact first, and the charges are allegations that will be tested in court.
