Houston Weather at 1 A.M.: 73 Degrees, Sunday's Fog Is Gone From the Feed, Tuesday's Storms Hold at 87 Percent
The updated feed clears Sunday up: the fog in the midnight forecast is gone, replaced by an overcast 82-degree day with a 7 percent rain chance. Monday picks up a drizzle code, and Tuesday's thunderstorms - an Election Day washout risk - still sit at 87 percent.

HOUSTON - The forecast for Sunday has improved overnight. The station's live feed reads 73.4 degrees at 1 a.m., feeling like 80.8 under code 1 skies, and the code 45 fog that sat on Sunday in the midnight file is gone - Sunday now reads code 3, mostly overcast, with a high of 82.7, a low of 69.7 and a rain chance down to 7 percent.
It is also the strangest hour of the year in Houston: daylight saving time ends at 2 a.m., clocks fall back one hour, and the 1 a.m. hour happens twice. Sunday itself is a warm, dry, gray day either way - the best window of the week for anything outdoors.
Monday edges unsettled: code 51 drizzle appears on the feed, with a high of 81.4, a low of 69.2 and a 10 percent precipitation chance. It is a step toward the week's main event rather than a washout of its own.
Tuesday remains that event. The feed now carries code 96 - thunderstorms with a hail signal - for Election Day, with a high of 80.6, a low of 66.8 and an 87 percent precipitation chance. Voters heading to Harris County vote centers, open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., should plan for wet weather for a third straight forecast day. Wednesday cools behind the storms - high 80.2, low 63.8 - and Thursday turns clear before the week warms back into the mid-80s by Saturday.
