Houston Warms Into the Mid-80s Midweek; Rain Chances Build Tuesday and Again Late Week
Sunday stayed dry and overcast in Houston, and Monday stays dry too — then the station's live feed warms the city into the mid-80s by Wednesday and Thursday, with rain chances building Tuesday and Wednesday and a stronger shower signal by Saturday.

Houston closed out its dry weekend on schedule. The station's live weather feed (Open-Meteo) showed 72.6 degrees and overcast skies early Sunday evening, after a Sunday high of 76.1 and with an overnight low of 63.3 and no rain. Monday stays dry as well, with a high of 77.5 and a cooler low of 59.3 — the last fully dry, mild day of the stretch.
The warmup arrives midweek. Tuesday reaches 80.8 with the week's first rain chance at 17 percent, and Wednesday climbs to 84.4 with rain chances at 24 percent, the strongest of the workweek. Thursday is the warmest day in the feed at 84.6, and it dries back out, with rain chances falling to 1 percent.
The next rain signal builds at the end of the week. Friday turns cooler, with drizzle in the feed, a high of 78.1 and rain chances at 18 percent, and Saturday shows showers with a high of 82 and the week's strongest rain signal at 27 percent. The station will update the forecast on the morning file as the Tuesday and late-week chances firm up.
