Trump to Vote Early in Person in Florida on Saturday
President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump will vote early in person in Palm Beach County on Saturday morning, a White House official said — on the first day of Florida's early voting period, in the middle of the president's final midterm campaign blitz.

President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump will cast their ballots early in person in Palm Beach County, Florida, on Saturday morning, a White House official told the Washington Examiner and CBS News. Saturday is the first day of Florida's mandatory early voting period for the November 3 midterm elections, which runs from October 24 through October 31, and Trump is registered to vote in Palm Beach County.
The vote lands in the middle of a final campaign push across red states. Trump rallied in South Carolina on Wednesday night and in Iowa on Thursday night, then spoke Friday in Fort Myers for Florida's Republican gubernatorial nominee, Rep. Byron Donalds, before flying to Palm Beach and arriving at Mar-a-Lago on Friday evening, according to Palm Beach Buzz's account of the arrival. After voting Saturday morning, he heads back out — a rally in Georgia follows, with Michigan on Sunday.
On the campaign trail this week, the president said he prefers to vote on Election Day. In recent elections he has voted by mail — including Florida's Republican primaries and a Palm Beach special election this year — while criticizing widespread mail-in voting. White House spokeswoman Olivia Wales said this year, in remarks reported by the Washington Examiner: "As everyone knows, the President is a resident of Palm Beach and participates in Florida elections, but he obviously primarily lives at the White House in Washington, D.C. This is a non-story."
Trump is not the only one in the administration voting early on the road. Vice President JD Vance, who has also been crisscrossing the country backing downballot Republicans, cast his own early ballot this week while campaigning in Ohio, the Examiner reported. Election Day is Tuesday, November 3.
