Texans' Full Monday Transactions: Running Back Joshua Pitsenberger Joins the Practice Squad, Jaden Crumedy Is Waived and Deuce Vaughn Is Released
Houston's Monday roster work is bigger than one signing. The Texans' official Nov. 2 transactions list adds Yale rookie running back Joshua Pitsenberger to the practice squad, waives defensive tackle Jaden Crumedy and releases running back Deuce Vaughn - the moves that complete the batch headlined by Naquan Jones's signing to the active roster.

HOUSTON - The Texans published their full Monday transactions list, and the Naquan Jones signing filed earlier today is only its first line. Houston also signed running back Joshua Pitsenberger to the practice squad, waived defensive tackle Jaden Crumedy and released running back Deuce Vaughn, the team announced.
Pitsenberger is the batch's new face: a 6-0, 215-pound rookie out of Yale, age 23, joining the practice squad - the developmental roster from which Houston can elevate backs on game weeks without a permanent active-roster spot. His arrival and Vaughn's departure are two halves of the same backfield decision.
Vaughn, released Monday, is a 5-6, 176-pound running back out of Kansas State, age 24 with three years' experience - one of the league's smallest backs, whose Houston stint ends with this list. Crumedy, waived, is a 6-4, 301-pound defensive tackle out of Mississippi State, age 26 with three years' experience; his exit is the corresponding interior-line move to Jones's arrival, keeping the defensive tackle count level while changing the name in the spot.
Jones - 6-3, 313, age 28, a sixth-year Michigan State tackle signed off San Francisco's practice squad - was covered in full by this desk earlier today. Taken together, Monday's list is a depth-chart tune-up rather than a headline trade: one veteran tackle in, one tackle out, and the running back room reshuffled between the practice squad and the street. All four moves are the team's own announcements, with the individual releases also reported Monday morning by KPRC 2's Aaron Wilson.
