Texans Go for a Third Straight Win Sunday When the Giants Come to NRG Stadium
Houston (2-4) hosts the New York Giants at noon Sunday on FOX, riding wins over Tennessee and Jacksonville, favored by nine points — and still looking for its first home win of the season.

The Houston Texans play their final game before the bye week on Sunday, hosting the New York Giants at NRG Stadium. Kickoff is at noon CT, and the game airs on FOX. Houston is 2-4 and has won two straight after an 0-4 start.
The turnaround came on the road. After losses to Buffalo (36-31), Cincinnati (20-6), Indianapolis (19-17) and Dallas (34-30), the Texans beat the Titans 26-3 in Tennessee on October 11, then edged the Jaguars 34-31 in London on October 18 for a second straight win.
Oddsmakers like the home team's chances of a third. BetMGM makes Houston a nine-point favorite with the over/under set at 43 points, according to the Arizona Republic's Week 7 picks, which took the Texans 28-17. The Republic's Jeremy Cluff noted Houston is 0-3 at home this season but picked C.J. Stroud to change that against New York on the way to the Texans' third straight win.
After Sunday, the Texans rest: Week 8 is the bye. Houston returns to the field November 8 at the Los Angeles Chargers, then visits Cleveland before the Colts come to NRG Stadium for a Thursday night game on November 19.
