No. 14 Houston Visits Unbeaten No. 10 Utah in Saturday Night Big 12 Test
The Cougars take a four-game winning streak and the nation's best third-down offense into Rice-Eccles Stadium on Saturday night against a Utah team that has not lost this season. Kickoff is 9:15 p.m. CT on ESPN.

The No. 14 Houston Cougars visit the No. 10 Utah Utes on Saturday night at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, in a Big 12 matchup of two of the conference's strongest teams. Kickoff is set for 10:15 p.m. ET — 9:15 p.m. Houston time — on ESPN.
Utah is one of the last unbeaten teams in college football at 6-0, including 3-0 in conference play and 4-0 at home, and has outscored its opponents 241 to 89 this season. The Utes average 40.2 points and 486.5 yards per game behind quarterback Dampier, who leads the team with 1,412 passing yards, 198 rushing yards and 15 total touchdowns, according to FOX Sports' game preview.
Houston arrives at 6-1 overall and 3-1 in the Big 12, riding a four-game winning streak, with production that closely mirrors Utah's: 39.3 points and 485.1 yards per game. Quarterback Weigman leads the Cougars with 1,771 passing yards and 20 touchdown passes, and Houston converts third downs at 61.3 percent — the best rate in the nation — while carrying a turnover margin of plus-5, a slight edge over Utah's plus-4.
The test is Utah's defense, which is allowing 14.8 points per game and has intercepted eight passes this season. Houston's defense, allowing 21 points per game, will have to slow a Utah offense that ranks eighth nationally in scoring. The game-night file will follow within 45 minutes of the final.
