Harris County Early Voting Runs Noon to 7 p.m. Sunday at More Than 70 Centers
Sunday is the only noon-start day of Harris County early voting: polls are open from noon to 7 p.m. at more than 70 centers, and registered voters can use any center in the county. Early voting runs through Friday, October 30, ahead of the November 3 election.

Harris County voters who want a Sunday ballot need to plan for a later start: early voting centers in the county are open from noon to 7 p.m. on Sunday, October 25, Bayou Beat News reported in its Greater Houston early voting guide. That is the only noon start of the period — the surrounding days, including Monday through Friday next week, run 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Early voting ends Friday, October 30.
More than 70 early voting centers are available in Harris County, and voters may cast a ballot at any designated early voting location within the county where they are registered, the guide said. County Clerk Teneshia Hudspeth encouraged residents to plan ahead: "Early voting gives voters the flexibility to cast their ballots on their own schedules, including weekends, while avoiding potential Election Day crowds," Hudspeth said. "We encourage voters to plan ahead, review their ballots, and take advantage of the opportunity to vote early."
Voters should bring one of the seven acceptable forms of Texas photo identification — including a Texas driver's license, a Texas personal identification card, a U.S. passport book or card, or a U.S. military identification card with a photograph — and may bring a printed sample ballot or written notes into the polling place, the guide said. Cellphones and other wireless devices may not be used within 100 feet of voting stations under Texas law.
Fort Bend County voters vote on the same October 19-30 early voting dates, but Sunday hours there differ from Harris County, and voters must vote in the county where they are registered, the guide said. Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, when polls statewide are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
